Experimenting to see how I might position the center spiral using ordinary string to hold it in place temporarily. I'm in the workshop with this piece initially, whilst it takes shape. The workshop does have many advantages particularily when I only have short bursts of time. I arrive and things are as I left them and I get straight on with the work.
